(New York, NY) July 2022 – The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) has announced plans for the 2023 NY Champions Cup, to be held on June 24th and 25th, hosted once again at the World Class Soccer Complex.
The NY Champions Cup, now in its 3rd year, is a collaboration between CJSL, EDP North Atlantic & EDP CT.
This past June over 55 teams participated in the NY Champions Cup. Due to the success of the event, the NY Champions Cup is expanding eligibility for the Spring 2023 Season.
The NY Champions Cup will feature regular season league champions from CJSL D1 & D2, EDP North Atlantic D1, D2 & D3 teams, & EDP Connecticut.
The NY Champions Cup will include gold, silver and bronze brackets for various boy’s teams ages 9U through 17U, and gold brackets for girl’s teams ages 10U through 17U. Depending on the number of teams participating per bracket, there will be semifinals plus a final or only a final.
In the event of a first place tie for teams in the EDP North Atlantic eligible divisions (see above), the listed tiebreakers will apply.
